| Summary | 0000750: Crawling using the mouse wheel during playback | ||||||||||||
| Description | Dear Friends, Moving the mouse wheel allows to crawl the timeline. But when playing, using the wheel can only move cursor to the right/left side of the timeline, not further. I am crawling a long 2.5 hours file. I cannot press play because it does not allow me to use the wheel. I press stop, crawl using the wheel, then press play. Then press stop. Thanks a lot! If I understood correctly, what you need to do is go to Kdenlive Settings dialog -> Display. There, uncheck the "Autoscroll while playing" checkbox, and you will be able to scroll through the whole timeline while playing |

I did not explain correctly. When autoscroll is on, I can use the mouse wheel to move rapidly in either direction. |

I'm not sure I understand this request. Is it to enable scrubbing with the mouse wheel when autoscroll is off and the part playing is outside the visible part of the timeline ? If it is that, why not just enable autoscroll ? Oh, actually I just tested and it seems to work fine... Maybethis feature has been added since ? Or maybe I just didn't get it... |
