Hi Dan, Given that you filed this bug in February, it is highly likely that you were filing this on version 0.6 or earlier. Due to so much of the code changing between version 0.6 and 0.7, developers are currently focusing all resources on improving the 0.7.x cycle of the Kdenlive. Because of these large changes there is an excellent chance that this bug no longer even exists in the newest version, which is why we recommend upgrading and letting us know. Packages or repositories are available for many of the major distro's. If you are still having this issue in a 0.7.x release, feel free to open a new report or let us know and we can reopen this one. I have however marked this as acknowledged for one part which seems to have stayed the same and is still effectively a problem: namely that going to Help -> Report Bug still reports information to bugs.kde.org (which doesn't allow kdenlive to be chosen as an application to report on). Obviously we want our bug reports in mantis. I can see that this could be confusing and may result in bug reports going missing. Can any of the dev's confirm if it is possible to change where people choosing the "Help -> Report Bug" option are taken, or if you have any other ideas? Cheers Cinephiliac |

Still contacts bugs.kde.org and fails with an error message. Couldn't we just link to mantis there? |
