0000973: Grouped clips cause interface error when tracks before them are deleted

Description

I added several audio and video tracks to my timeline, in the wrong location, and after an application crash and recovery (thus I couldn't undo it) I wanted to remove them. After deleting tracks - 0, 1, and 2 my grouped clips from the tracks below had issues - the clips moved up in the timeline to the top tracks, but the blue boxes that indicate grouping were left behind below in blank space.

These boxes could be moved along the timeline with a SHIFT-click and drag, but could not be removed with CTRL-SHIFT-G. They could not be deleted in any way. The project timeline appears permanently altered with these leftover blue boxes.

I am attaching a screenshot that shows these leftover, permanent blue boxes in my timeline.

(0003520) nixiepixel (reporter) 2009-06-29 09:16 edited on: 2009-06-29 09:47	I was able to finally delete these leftovers by placing them at the end of the timeline, adding a clip after them, then removing the space between. Unfortunately the project has to be scrapped as it appears there are bits of the groupings "left behind" that I can't get rid of with the ungroup function. I am unable to manipulate the clips I have in place.
