kdenlive 0.7.5 + mlt 0.4.4 has the same issue.

You have not sufficiently described the problem such that I can reproduce it. There is no magic pixie dust I can sprinkle on the code to make sure A/V sync is not a problem for every single video that exists in the universe.

Hi. I had your a/v sync problem with youtube videos. Is a bug from mlt. Compiling ffmpeg, mlt and kdenlive (in this order) from git/svn solved that problem. Actually, my kdenlive installation (svn) is more stable than 0.75 and mlt 0.4.4. I think kdenlive and mlt should be release a new stable subversion fixing that annoying problem.
