Rendering Profiles

Share your profiles!
Here is the list of the existing rendering profiles. If you are logged in, you can click on a profile name to edit it, or create a new profile. Please check our profile description before that.

Installing a profile in Kdenlive (requires Kdenlive >= 0.7.3)
To install one of these profiles, start Kdenlive and go to the menu "menu Settings > Download New Profiles...". You will then see a list of all profiles, just select the one you need and click Install.

Fields description:

Destination: This is the group in which the profile is, chosen from a list: Mobile devices, DVD, ...
Category: This is the subcategory. For example, we could have a "Phone" subcategory in Mobile devices
Description: This is brief description of the uses of this profile. For example, if it is designed for output on a special phone, you should put the model of the phone
Avformat parameters: This is the list of avformat parameters that will be passed to FFmpeg during rendering. The list of those parameters can be found on FFmpeg web site. Note that not all parameters are supported and that the syntax must be changed:
instead of "-r 25", you must give: "r=25"
Approved: This field can only be changed by administrators. Your profile will only be available for download when it has been approved
