However, the new 60 progressive recording mode with 28Mbps is not friendly for post-production. Over majority non-linear editing software, including the Avid systems do not use the same native AVCHD .mts format as Panasonic HDC-HS900 memory cards, and on Avid official website, it recommends DNxHD or XDCAM codec for editing, and DNxHD codec is the first choice.
How would I start writing a new transition for MLT? I'm looking at the Composite transition, to start with, but is there a simpler way?
