We are happy and proud to announce the release of Kdenlive 19.04 refactored edition concluding a 3 year cycle in which more than 60% of the code base was changed with +144,000 lines of code added and +74,000 lines of code removed. Kdenlive 18.08.3 is out with updated build scripts as well as some compilation fixes. All work is focused on the refactoring branch so nothing major in this release. On the other hand in the Windows front some major breakthroughs were made like the fix of the play/pause lag as well as the ability to build Kdenlive directly from Windows. The next milestone is to kill the running process on exit making Kdenlive almost as stable as the Linux version. Read More

Kdenlive 18.08.2 is out bringing usability improvements and a crash fix. The Windows version is also becoming more stable with every release and this version brings fixes to the translation installation and the introduction of a crash report. Read More
