The second maintenance release of the 22.08 series is out with many usability and bug fixes. Some highlights include fixed pasted “ghost” keyframes, effects overlay now properly scale on monitor zoom, loopable image sequence clips are working again and VP8 alpha renders don’t crash anymore. this app just keeps getting better!
Okay guys. I’ve moved to flatpak version, everything works great! And performance is the first thing i noticed)
When we see new features in some releases, it’s always great. But bug fixes are also essential.
Thank you very much for this release.
Rendering of E:/邵强/104.mp4 crashed? why
Since 22.08, every time I render, there is always an error that cannot be rendered. When I download 20.08, there is no problem with rendering. What should I do?
Report the bug: https://kdenlive.org/en/bug-reports/
Thak you. I love Kdenlive.
is there a way to simply update your kdenlive rather than downloading the entire program again?
Not at the moment. This is on the to-do list.
Yes, use Linux. ?
Shotcut uses IPC to make the content of the timeline available to Glaxnimate as a background. Would be nice to do the same in Kdenlive.
Yes this is in planning and on the to-do list.
whats wrong with the download speed my internet is good but still download with 40ko/s i download other thing with like 5mb/s
Super program! There is no option to change the font size in the Project Notes. Please add if possible
New Kdenlive 22.08.3 version should be out in few days. But is it too late to built it with the latest MLT v7.10.0 release?
Thanks!
I got my answer. It wasn’t too late 🙂
ok cool
i think we can integrate the , the slow and fastness of the video can be keyframe like wave form. It would be great to have the feature. Currently it is either slow or fast. Kdenlive is getting better and better thank you for the great work.
You’re a bit late. We already have this feature for more than a year now. It’s called “Time Remap”.
I hope that the Chinese language of kdenlive can be completely translated into Chinese, which is a barrier for ordinary Chinese users
On the new 22.08.3 AppImage I got a “Rendering crashed” message when I do a simple and only “Fade in / Fade out” on a clip. Since I use a lot of fade in / fade out, I won’t be able to use this new version.
Thanks.
The latest version is looking good. However, is there a way to disable the 3 second countdown timer when recording audio?
Yes, next release will have an option to disable it.
version 22.08.3 is not work – Rendering “… .mp4” crashed
I thought I was the only one with this bug 🙂
Tanks. I was looking at the experimental version and doing tests. It promises a lot. I have had better results if the files are .rawr Thank you for the effort.
22.08.3 has been available for a while now, but there’s no list of improvements/changes like this one for 22.08.2. Any idea when it will be posted? I’d really like to know what the changes are.
Keep up the good work guys.
MacOS version is not out yet and is still in development as I can see. And for myself I got a major bug when I do a render, a “Rendering crashed” message when I add a simple “Fade in” on a clip (with the 22.08.3 AppImage).
This is a first time to me as it never happened in the past under OpenSuse Tumbleweed.
So, if there is no fix for this version, I’m sticking to 22.08.2 and I’ll wait to the upcoming 22.08.4 version.
Ah I saw the Mac version on the 22.08.3 download page, so I thought they’d released all the versions, but I just noticed it actually links to 22.08.2.
FYI, I’m using 22.08.3 on Windows with no problems.
Kdenlive for Windows. I have terrible icons for folders. There are white and pixelized.
I have been editing for a very long time and honestly I have to say that it has become a real pleasure to do pure editing with Kdenlive. The timeline is really well designed. I don’t use the effects much myself (but the ones I do need are there and work pretty well).
It’s even hard to mention bugs because I haven’t had any crashes or corrupted projects for a long time now (at least through the features I use).
Moreover it’s really motivating to see that the fund raising will allow to implement nested timelines and better performances in the future.
Just updated, can’t wait to check everything out!
