Hi everyone,
I have got kdenlive. Fine!
But there is something wrong about avi files. Everytime I try to open the program crash.
I don't know what is the matter, but I am still embarrassed. What Can I do?

My avi files are stored in one ntfs pratition. could be this the problem?

Thank

This is a repport about your suggestion:

#1 - Try playing your video file with FFmpeg's player. From a terminal: ffplay myvideo.mpg
I have tested one video and it runs good with any problems, but later on I have tested one avi file and this is the output:

#2 - Try playing your video file with MLT's player. From a terminal: melt myvideo.mpg
I have run the same file as above and this was the output:

#3 - Download this simple project file (containing color clips): test_file.kdenlive and play it with MLT's player: melt test_file.kdenlive
I did it, but have some trouble:
tito@debian:~$ melt file:///home/tito/Desktop/Varie/test_file.kdenlive
Failed to load "file:///home/tito/Desktop/Varie/test_file.kdenlive"
Failed to load "file:///home/tito/Desktop/Varie/test_file.kdenlive"
..................(many istructions on how to use melt)

That's all.

My kdenlive Version is: 0.8-3
My Melt Version is: 1:0.7.2-0.1

Hope can help you !

PS
I didnt report about mpeg files, because they work, the problem is with Avi files.

Well, any suggestions???
