First off is this the right area for this discussion? Second I was able to get the Black Magic Intensity Pro working after building from source via the new build script in Ubuntu 10.10. Kdenlive starts up fine with new options for capture from the Intensity Pro Card. I plugged in HDMI and set both the project to right frame rate and resolution same with the other output and was able to hit preview and can see the screen I wanted to capture. All good there now when I hit the capture or record button it does nothing. Again I can see the video previewing fine. Also I can capture and play back fine in the Media Express app just fine. Playback in kdenlive for 8bit YUV files are choppy. No problem with my video cards or hard drives. No choppy playback in media express or totem movie player so it is kdenlive. Just so all are aware one SSD Drive has enough speed to run your OS and capture/playback HD video from the Intensity Pro at 8 bit YUV or the lower jpeg quality settings. That is on a Corsair 120GB drive it averages min. 250MB/s average 265MB/s Max 290MB/s. Just a FYI and if you need more testing done let me know. Great work at incorporating this card! Does anybody know if capture actually works with Intensity Pro in source build? If so am I doing anything wrong?
