Kdenlive 26.04.1 יצאה לאור

תודות למענק של NLnet/NGI0, ערכנו בדיקת אבטחת מידע שנערכה על ידי Radically Open Security. הבדיקה מצאה פרצה אחת חמורה שיכולה לראות בעת פתיחת קובץ מיזם זדוני, ובכך מתאפשרת הרצת קוד מרחוק. הנושא הזה טופל ב־Kdenlive 26.04.1. המון תודה לאודארדו גרסאי ול־Radically Open Security על כך שסייעו לנו להפוך את התוכנה שלנו לבטוחה יותר!

אנחנו לא מודעים לניצול החולשה עד כה. חשוב להבין שבעיית האבטחה הזאת היא סביב קובץ מיזם ‎.kdenlive שעלול להכיל קוד זדוני. לכן, הוא תקף רק במקרה שפתחת קובץ מיזם ‎.kdenlive שקיבלת ממישהו או מישהי אחרים או שקיבלת אותו מהאינטרנט. אם כל המיזמים שנערכים אצלך הם מיזמים עצמיים או מיזמים שיתופיים בשיתוף פעולה עם שותפים אמינים, אין סכנת אבטחה.

אם אין לך אין לשדרג אין לפתוח קובצי מיזמים שלא נוצרו על ידיך.

למרות שפרצת האבטחה תוקנה ב־26.04.1, מימשנו גם שכבה נוספת של בדיקות אבטחת מידע לקראת 26.08.0 הממשמשת ובאה כדי להזהיר את המשתמשים אם זוהה קלט מפתיע בקובץ מיזם.
