De laatste onderhoudsuitgave van de 26.04-reeks is verschenen en bevat de gebruikelijke reeks reparaties van fouten en verbeteringen op het gebied van werkmethode en stabiliteit. Tot de hoogtepunten behoren oplossingen voor crashes bij het ongedaan maken van het aanmaken van een sequentie en bij het opnemen van audio zonder audioapparaat, evenals verbeteringen aan de effecten 'Rechthoekig alfa-masker' en 'Rotoscoping'. Daarnaast zet deze uitgave de inspanningen voort om de beveiliging in deze cyclus te versterken door de ongewenste uitvoering van commando's bij MLT-versies ouder dan 7.40 te voorkomen.
