Prva vzdrževalna izdaja iz niza 28.08 je izšla in se še naprej osredotoča na stabilnost in piljenje s številnimi popravki za sesutja in regresije, pa tudi izboljšave uporabniškega vmesnika in uporabnosti.

Nekatere težave z izdelavo paketov so povzročile majhno zamudo pri objavi te izdaje, opravičujemo se za nevšečnosti. Hvala vsem, ki pomagajo narediti Kdenlive bolj stabilnega s poročanjem o napakah, zagotavljanjem popravkov ali pošiljanjem konstruktivnih povratnih informacij.
