Das letzte Wartungsrelease des 21.12-Zyklus bringt Verbesserungen im Bereich von Keyframes, Untertiteln und Proxy-Clips. Audio-Miniaturansichten werden bei hohen Zoomstufen nun beschleunigt angezeigt. Ausserdem behebt diese Version 5 Abstürze, darunter den Wechsel des Wayland-Layouts und im Time-Remapping-Modul.
Mit diesem Release haben wir die AppImage-Erstellung auf KDE Craft umgestellt. Craft-Builds verwenden wir bereits für die Windows- und die macOS-Erstellung. Dadurch werden unsere Pakete konsistenter hinsichtlich Abhängigkeiten auf allen Plattformen. Zudem wird die Wartung einfacher, was den Entwicklern mehr Zeit zum Programmieren statt zum Paketieren gibt.
